What stays behind the door when you leave, what we do with it, and how you can have it gone.
Kept on file
- Account basics: your email, a hashed password, a given name, the day you were born, a gender and whatever you choose to add on your pocket page.
- Your conversations, and the short notes each keeper writes so that she can place you next time.
- A session cookie, and a second cookie which says you were checked at the door for age.
- Traces of payment, meaning an amount and a reference. We take no cards, so there are none to lose.
- The ordinary web-server logs, kept briefly and then dropped.
What for
Running the chat, upholding the etiquette and keeping the city lit. What you type goes through an AI model that we operate or through a service bound to that one job, and a machine reads it for safety. What you type is kept off the market, and advertisers get no glimpse of it.
Footfall
A plain tally counts arrivals and the rough direction they came from. What is said behind a door is invisible to it.
What you can do
In each chat there are options to change her notes, export a copy or clear it. For complete deletion, write to us from your registered address. Where your own jurisdiction grants additional rights, ask, and they will be honoured.
